How do you remove the white symbol behind the lcd? I'd like to remove it for an all black look or replace it with something more subtle.

Those factory logos are stuck on pretty good,so unless you want to try and pry it off somehow without wrecking the finish(good chance and I will highly discourage you from even trying).
Maybe you can cover it up somehow.

my rig came with a blank "frame" to replace the stock one.. Ill post pics some other time. But, I'd imagine it just peels off. The frame I speak of is just a same shaped object, with a base that would insert downwards into the hole left on the top of the rig..and at the base, I assume it allows light to enter the clear plastic and travel through the rest of the mount and whatever emblem you add. Hard to explain in detail without going on and on..so use your imagination.

I don't remember I think it was a little more than that but was reasonable. I think he charges a little more for non KN owners but would have to ask him he has some really really nice designs going on including a cool palm rest so those prints don't show up which I think is going to be a must have

I wish Mark still did his full aluminium shields, the ones that covered the whole laptop. They looked wicked.

hooper, did you get the stock design or your custom shield?

You could pry it off... then fill it with some plastic sealant.. I know mark did something like that to make a BR drive fit in the optical drive.
