    How to update the BIOS of Fl90 ?

    Hi there,

    I bought a compal Fl90 and since there is a bios-update for it I want to update because there seem to be some bugs in the current installed bios-version. I downloaded the zip.file from the intel.com website (it isn´t on compal.com) but there´s no readme for it.

    These are the files

    IFT00C06.BAT
    IFT00C06.ROM
    IFT00C06.WPH
    PHLASH16.EXE

    I read the guide for flashing the HEL80 but I don´t know if I can use the same way for the Fl 90...any help ? I don´t want to brick my laptop so how do I flash it ?

    Are you sure thats a right bios files. Why does it called IFT00? That a different model.

    Yes but a textfile says:

    The attached file is IFT00110.ROM for IFT0X & IFL9X.

    I guess it´s the right version...will try to update it today
