I think it is the Matebook X the one that has it, but many reviews on the internet say that the D has it too.

I have a Matebook D expected to arrive this week. I will let you know about the fingerprint reader once I receive it.

The AMD version does not have a fingerprint reader while the Intel version does.

Ok but did you actually try it personally or that affirmation is based on reviews?

I can confirm the AMD version does not have one, at least the model I got. It also says "Signature Edition" on the box.

It looks like Huawei also lists a fingerprint reader for the Intel version but not the AMD version on their website. I am pretty confident the AMD version is not made with a fingerprint reader.

No finger print reader. For me that is fine. On a phone it is of high usage, constantly unlocking it, but one on the PC it usually stays unlocked for a while.

It should be noted that the Honor Magicbook with Picasso APU - that has been released earlier this year in China - comes now with a fingerprint reader too.

If Huawei should decide to release it internationally as new Matebook D, it should most likely retain that feature.
