I am so wanting to buy this laptop, fully decked out, but am wary because I dont' really know the name. I cannot see spending $3500 bucks on it with these hesitations. I have heard of sager, and have spoken to them on the phone, but they just don't seem to want to sell me... THey are short, and rude to me.. and they don't offer the guarentees that Hypersonic does, but they are around 600 bucks cheaper.. Is $600 bucks worth the restore cd and other stuff that comes with the Hypersonic AX-7?
Please someone post their thoughts on this laptop.
Thanks! -
It's the same notebook, orginally made by Clevo. If you want to pay $600 for a brand name and a decal, good luck. Personally, I'd get it from PC Torque.

What is the battery life on this laptop?
-
If your AX7 gives you poor wireless signal when you get it, or if it freezes in the middle of nothing, you should send it back and get it fixed. (I would recomend that you don't buy in in the first place, but if you do, don't wait till your 30 days money back warranty runs out) They basically made me wait for two months for a new wireless card, and now they wont refund a dime. It's been five moths, and this computer has given me nothing but problems. Customer Care IS A BAD JOKE.
If you want to spend a lot of money in the best laptop around get yourself a dell workstation, they are as expensive, but you wont get all the bs. I was another AMD fan, who wanted to check out the 64bit technology...there is nothing wrong with that, but I should have gone with dell. I think that even the acer ferrary would have done better. -
After 5 months, and almost no use, battery life is about 45 minutes, the power cord is the heaviest ever. It matches the computer.

I"ll Sell It Today To Anyone For $ 2,000.

I've been looking for an AX7 but they no longer sell this model.
I had heard these were great model laptops, but the main drawback was the ATI 9700 mobility in the system.
Anyone know of any other resellers that still offer this unit?
