So I was looking around the Hypersonic website and noticed that the Sr5 looks a lot like the Compal IFL 90. Plus they claim to have a 512 Mb 8600 Gt with DDR3!![]()

i saw that aswell, the ones with gddr3 are a TON better then the ones with ddr2 for obvious reasons
-
can we believe that though?? becuase as you know that rivatuner shows GDDR3 on the Xotic or PNB notebooks but its almost assumed that it is GDDR2
-
When you click on info it also says:
-
Seems like they have some of their facts wrong, I don't know how Hypersonic would magically get their own GDDR3 card as a fact whilst having a 256-bit memory interface. Either they're lying or they don't have their facts straight.
-
i vote for the lack of facts...i mean dell did it too.
-
They list it with a dvi out port as well...

Haha... Read the first line of the 8600M GT Specifications:
-
I tried to call them today. Phone rings and rings then disconnects??
Has anyone ever done business with them??? -
They got some really bad feedback fairly recently on resellerratings.
-
Yeah, Hypersonic doesn't seem to be a very satisfactory company like Powernotebooks or XoticPC; a lot of their info is wrong on their website or overly exaggerated, that alone would turn me off from them.

I built the same rig with same specs as sager 2090 and price came out to be $450 more.
Hypersonic Sr5 same as Compal IFL 90?
