I'm still having heat problems on my 6214W.

When playing Battlefield 2 I can only play for 30 minutes. I have tried the z1.17 BIOS but of some strange reason it makes my fan much more noicy when I'm just surfing the internet and taking notes in Word. Now I have returned to BIOS z1.15 because the noicy fan is a problem for me during classes at school.

Though when I tried out the z1.17 it seems that the fan spins up to full speed much more easy then with z.1.15. I have allso removed a creditcard size sticker wich is located right above the fan under the keybord. This gives my compuuter much better cooling. But not enough :(

For me to play Battlefield 2 at high graphics I use a laptop-rack, reduce the CPU performance in Notebook Hardware Control down to 75% and disable the fan monitoring in NHC. Butt still I get shutdown because of heat. I have noticed that other 6214 owners don't seem to have that much heat-problems. I am active in other forums with 6214W threads with norwegian, danish and english language. Wich gives me much experience with this computer.

I use the Nvidia 93.37 drivers.
