Hate to be a nusiance .....
anyone have an answer for this ??
Also will I be able to output widescreen video via s-video from notebook to my HD-tv ?? I realize it will not be hd resolution, but the resolution shold still be decent?? -
I ordered a toslink to mini jack adapter with my Zepto 3415W. Im a bit disappointed it's not a coaxil output instead of a optical. The optical cables tend to be quite fragile and can't be as long as the coaxial ones.

Unfortunately we've found out the IFL90/91 and IFT00/01 does not support optical out at all. We where told when buying these models before they where released that they would support optical out, but they do not. Compal will not support Optical out on their laptops until next generation apparently.

In other words, you just sold me a completely useless adapter? It's about the same price as a beer, so i guess you owe me one

Sorry for bringing this up again.
So it is no possible to get an SPDIF signal using a mini toslink adapter plugged to the headphone jack, right?
Ok I have the Turtle Beach Audio Advantage Micro USB. It is better to disable the integrated audio card at all? What is the best way to go here? -
HEL80 supported 8 channel audio through toslink.
