    hi all,
I bought a Sager 2090 (IFL-90) in 2007 and have been running the drivers off the included CD. I have planned to reformat my laptop and would like to update to new drivers while I'm at it. But the Compal driver page ( http://www.compal.com/asp/driver_dnd/) lists two sets of drivers under the folders "030" and "Intel." What does this mean and which do I pick? I noticed that my user manual PDF on my CD reads "IFL90-030_UM.pdf" but the CD makes no other reference to "Intel" or "030"

Compal doesn't seem to have an updated version--or any version at all for SmartBattery.

I'd appreciate any help in clearing this issue up!! thanks,

    ok,
So I just compared all the files in each folder and they seem to be the exact same. The 030 folder has a couple newer drivers not found in the Intel folder. Why Compal would do something so confusing is beyond me. If anyone cares, I'll tell you how the install goes.

Hi mate, I think it depends on your graphics card. As far as I know, the "intel" folder is for on-board graphics, whilst the "030" folder is for the nVidia 8600m GT graphics card.

Let me know how it goes please, I'll be doing the same soon :)

It doesn't even depend on what graphics card you have.... cause under vga they have the same things listed. So I don't think it really matters which one you try. They are both the same.
