Hello,
On several occasions during bootp the laptop hangs at the moment that the windows logo is displayed and crash to the blue screen. In the blue screen I can read something about the USB but it resets too fast for me to read it completely.
Checking the device manager the only thing that is listed out of the ordinary is an unknown device listed under PCI bus. When I check the properties it says that the drivers are not installed (code 28) and the description says ACPI\E0100.
I don't see any errors on the USB Universal Host controller or the USB Enhanced host Controller.
Do you have any idea about this?
Regards!

Try installing the newest Robson Driver below and see if that fixes the issue.

Travis is right about starting with the Robson driver. As for the unknown device, I'd suggest uninstalling it and letting Windows have another crack at redetecting it after a reboot. ACPI is power management related and usually the items labeled with it in Device Manager get autodetected.

Sorry I made a mistake, the laptop is not the IFL90 but the FL90. Do I still have to install the drivers for the Robson even when the Intel 1Gb memory component is not installed in the laptop?
Thanks for your responses! -

install the ENE Cir driver and the intel chipset software and see what happens
oh, and don't install the Robson driver if you don't have it in your laptop. -
Custom90gt thanks for your help, installing the driver solve the problem in the device manager but now I have another question. Correct me if I'm wrong but that driver is for the infrared receiver. Then, Why did I installed that driver when I don't have the TV tuner or any other infrared port either?
Also How can I view the data captured by the Blue Screen?
Thanks! -

The driver is indeed for an infrared receiver, but its built into your laptop even without the tv tuner. If you look to the right of your wireless select switch, you can see the cover.
To view the bluescreen data you can do this:
Right click on my computer (or the computer shortcut in the start menu)
click on properties
then advanced system settings
Then the startup and recovery button
then uncheck "automatically restart"
hit okay and close all the other windows
This will keep your system from restarting when you get the BSOD -
Custom90gt thanks again. I will follow your advice to get the error detail from the blue screen. The error is intermittent and I can not reproduce it but I will keep checking.
Best regards. -

Hello, yes the IFL90 and the FL90 are one in the same, so no change there. Actually the Robson driver operates Intel Turbo Memory which transfers large amounts of data to flash memory cache to speed performance and it is only available under Vista just as you stated. The only thing is sometimes if you are having assorted problems even though you are not using the Turbo Memory function you can still install the Robson driver to take care of certain random BSOD's.
That's my understanding anyway. I could be wrong but even if you don't use the Robson features Vista is quirky without it and it wouldn't hurt anything by installing it.
And, yes once the laptop gives you enough time to write the error number down you can track down the culprit. -
Thanks Travis, I will take note on that!
