If it's something especially important, could you PM it to me please if it's not posted in a few days? If not, or if you really don't want to share, that's fine. I wouldn't want to pressure you into anything.

[For Compal] You rolled a 6. The cross ocean by boat method has failed and the boat has sunk. Redo all orders and try again.

I've only been waiting 2 weeks, I can't imagine waiting 6 like Donsell. I really hope mine comes next week.

I also ordered mine 6 weeks ago in may. Sounds like I will probably be in the same boat as donsell with the bad news he heard. Strange I didnt get a call from powernotebooks however...

I wonder whats up? If its another delay ill probably cancel and keep my free work laptop.

I am curious. If it is another delay or a small shipment, I would appreciate it if they e-mailed the pre-orders that will be affected. Its a big investment for me and I'm a tad bit worried. :/

I figure, I'll give it till the end of the week to see if any WSXGA screens come in. Otherwise, I'll either drop the screen size or cancel the order. I guess I might be impatient, but I still feel rather anxious due to the extremely large amount of delays =/

As far as cancelling goes... Lets say I cancelled my order and ordered another laptop via the internet. By the time that laptop began to ship the IFL's could very well be on their way. Then again I could still be saying this in two more weeks...agh.

Yea, powernotebooks/paladin44/Donald is making an announcement tomorrow about the shipping dates. It should be very similar to other sellers, i.e. xoticpc.

The reason pre-orders had to wait so long is that the first shipment is over, so you have to wait for the second shipment. If you have not received your Sager by now, no matter when you order (6/22 or 7/10), you will not receive the laptop until that second shipment arrives. When it does, everything (configuration, shipping, etc.) would be relatively fast because I can imagine the sellers working hard.

So just keep punching that pillow.

I don't think so, considering the NP2090 is just a rebranded Sager. Hell, they even ship within Compal's IFL-90 box.

They all go into Bizcom and then out to Sager, PNB, Xotic etc so I would imagine once they come in everyone will get some, it all depends on what flavor is in the shipment I guess.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that only people who ordered the sager 2090 got theirs in the US by now...

Only some people who ordered the 2090 with the WXGA screens got theirs so far.

still, that's better than the none who ordered a compal through another reseller.
