Does anyone know if the TV tuner in the IFL90 is just a mini PCI card, with a cable to the ports (and IR)? If it is, it seems like it would make sense to add in an AOpen LR351 ATSC/NTSC tuner instead. It wouldn't have a remote, and would be a bit more work (voiding the warranty?) but it give you over-the-air HDTV support and would be cheaper.

Sure, it's a minipci-e card with an antenna cable and power cord attached to it, so if you find a different one, with connectors that would fit, then why not give it a go - it just might work for you. I'd preferably test it in the shop tho had you had the chance.
