I'm trying to install Windows XP on my IFL90 but I'm having problems with the audio. I was able to install the drivers fine without any problems but I'm still not getting any audio. When I go to Sounds and Audio Devices in Control Panel, it says that there is No Audio Device. I've tried using the driver included in the CD and the newest driver on the realtek website but the result is the same. It shouldn't be a hardware problem since the audio was fine when I had Vista on the laptop. Anyone have any ideas on what I should do?

Nevermind, found the problem. There was a driver in System Devices that wasn't installed when I installed the audio driver.

You need to install a hotfix before audio driver installation (on Windows XP). The hotfix is included in Realtek's audio driver package. If you run the setup.exe within the package, it'll first install the hotfix, then the audio driver.

I'm having a problem with audio too. I have a FL90 with XP.

I've installed the Realtek AC“97 Audio Codecs, and still can't get sound...i've also tried the drivers from bizcom, intel, compal...neither one worked. :(

See Remzi's suggestion. If even the setup.exe from the Realtek package doesn't work, make sure you download all available Windows Updates first. You are missing the Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) hotfix.
