Hello!
I'm a digital dj and i use program Traktor pro for dj-ing!
I have my laptop (Core 2 Duo 2.40ghz) optimized as hell, almost everything disabled in device manager + i'm using usb hub for my controlers & audio card, battery out when dj-ing and every time i get audio crackles!!
I tried everything, believe me, everything and nothing helps!
I updated my graphic card (8600m GT 512mb) to the newest version (6.14.12.6658)! Bios version is 1.12!
I think the problem is caused by graphic card!!?
Do u have any advice for me??
Tnx
N.

Hello and welcome to NBR.
Check if you have latency problems.
Download DPC Latency Checker or LatencyMon, let it run in the background and try to reproduce the issue.
If you see orange and/or red bars, your issue is probably driver related. -
Tnx Katalin!!
I forgot to write that I'm no newbie,i know a lot about music and computer optimization! And yes i do get red + orange bar but the problem is that i don't know what's causing it!! -
Check your wireless card. The wireless drivers can cause high latency and crackles.

Well as long as you have high values you will experience stuttering.
Metril has a point, what you could do:
- start with a fresh windows install and add your drivers one by one. After each driver install try to reproduce the issue. Eventually you'll find the culprit.
- or you could disable system components (wifi module etc.) one by one and check each time if latency values are still high.
Is this the only driver version you're experiencing high latency? -
Best way is to reinstall Windows and setup drivers one by one as katalin_2003 suggests.
But, before that, try uninstalling the wifi drivers. Test with DPC. If it doesn't improve, then remove the wifi card itself from your computer (if physically possible) and test again. Do this before you go to the extremes of reinstalling Windows.
Also, you mentioned that you DJ. Do you use any specific equipment? Are you using ASIO drivers? The Windows Audio stack isn't meant to be "on-time/real-time" driven. In fact, the Windows Audio stack will never even come close due to how it is implemented. You need to bypass it completely to get as low a latency as possible and ASIO will do that. -
I will do that..reinstall windows--give it a fresh start!!
Can you please send me a link to the newest drivers for ifl90!?
ps:I've got everything disabled in device manager so really don't know what's cosine the problem!! -
Tnx for the help but as i said..reinstalling windows!!!!
