I have 2 buttons on the left side of the keyboard which I have no idea what they do but thats fine, I want to know if its possible to rebind them to be volume control. I love having 1 button mute ability but hate that I have no easy control over my volume.

I'm not sure. Try KeyTweak, if it could find their codes, it would be possible. I've changed WoW buttons to volume control.

Oh, and BTW. One of those buttons support SmartBattery program and second one turns on PowerUSB when notebook is turned off.

How did you change the wow buttons? Same program?

I could sacrifice 2 if it gives me easier volume control. :D

Thanks I ended up rebinding wow video and audio (they annoyed me anyways).

The program could rebind the SmartBattery button but not the USB one, may switch the first to something else still if I think of another function I need.

The USB one is a hardware switch to power the port while the laptop is off to charge stuff through it. You can't rebind that...

do you have to have the wow video/audio software installed to be able to rebind those buttons? Hot do I identify the wow buttons in keytweak??

You don't have to use key tweak to rebind the wow buttons. You can also use the microsoft intellitype software. It also gives you a nifty indicator for when you lower the volume using fn.
