    IFL90 part numbers? (8600M GT)

    Hi guys. If anyone has been game enough to partially disassemble a IFL90 / FL90, could you please tell me the part number of the video module? Hopefully it should be something like "71BD1730001".

    If anyone is curious on how to disasemble these notebooks, see here. You should probably check to see if this would effect your warranty.

    I'm pretty sure it's a standard MXM II module. Maybe just search for 8600m GT MXM on froogle?

    Yep, is is most likely a standard MXM II module. Asus manufacture some to suit the C90, however it is not compatible with other laptops for unknown reasons (people have tried). I haven't found any others offered by resellers, but will investigate other manufacturers. At the moment, Compal is my preference.
