The IFL is coming with the 512MB card. Your other question I can't answer because I don't know the answer. :p

I don't understand why everyone is so excited about the IFL90, It is basically the same thing as the HGL30 or HEL80 with a faster FSB which might provide aminimal performance increase for similarly clocked CPU and a new DX10 capable vid card but DX10 games really won't start coming out in full force until 2008 and at least in the desktop model the NVIDIA 8600 performs marginally better than a 7600.

Well it is about the same price as the older HEL80 so that is something to be excited about. :D Also the chassis is redesigned on the IFL90. It will have the best DX10 graphics cards currently on the market. Finally it will implement Robson technology.

    Very true. :D

    Of course if you already have a HEL80 I wouldn't bother getting a IFL90.

actually, if they end up releasing it with the 8600m gs, it will be much weaker than the 8600m gt in the g1.

I'm actually looking more at the D900C.. but I'm waiting for numbers to impress me (and just a little time for people to decide if they are keeping it)

I figure by the time I'm ready to buy whatever I'm looking at, it will have a DX10 card worth the upgrade..

And the 8600m gt is already bit of a gimp card as it is if it takes after it's desktop counterpoint.
