First of all, I want to thank whoever it was that referred to ISTNC (one of the moderators I think) in a post that I read while trying to look up reviews on Hypersonic notebooks. I was about to buy a Hypersonic Aviator CX-7 until I read that.
I know a couple people have asked about the Hypersonic customer support. Those who have might want to do a little more research on google. I did find one website with quite a few negative reviews (don't remember which one it was, sorry) about their customer service. Most of the positive reviews seem to be for the folks who have had no problems with their laptops... Negative reviews were from those who did have problems and those who are still waiting on receiving their laptops after being delayed for months. One person had claimed they waited over 2 months to get a problem fixed, and when the laptop was returned it still was not fixed. They then returned the laptop again and it was out of warranty, so they were charged for the fix the second time around. Checking the better business bureau (bbb.org) shows 12 recent complaints, which is unusually high for this company. Anyways, Im going off on a tangent here....
The ISTNC laptop I ordered is basically equivalent to the one I was going to order from Hypersonic, with the following exceptions:
-The hypersonic version of the same laptop has the fancy silver car paintjob.
-The hypersonic had a 120gb HD whereas this laptop has a 100gb.
-The laptop from ISTNC is about 300 dollars cheaper.
If all goes well it should arrive sometime next week or early the week after. I'll post an initial review after I have gotten the thing setup and played around with it for a bit.
Here is what I ordered:

I'm glad you like ISTNC, they get great feedback around here.
Nice setup, and you definitely made the right decision. The fancy paint job and extra 20GB of hard drive space aren't worth the few hundred extra dollars.
Congrats, really looking forward to your review!
Oh BTW - I'm just going to move this over to the Other Manufacturers forum, I'd really like other people to hear about what you said, very helpful.
Are you going to do a full review? You can get paid for those . just contact abaxter about it, he'll give you the guidelines, etc.
Cheers -

Macel, I was wondering how the laptop is going,
I am looking at the same one with almost the same specs from ISTNC and wanted to know what you think so far....
The only difference in the specs I see is:
Processor - Intel® Pentium® M processor 740 2MB Cache 1.73GHz 533FSB
Hard Drive - PATA: - Hitachi 80GB/8MB Cache 7200RPM
With that video card and the 2gb of ram it should be a Killer Laptop

mussie (and anyone else considering a M570A),
This is an awesome laptop which I considered too but a refresh of this model is coming out soon (Probably early March - I'd guess around CeBit) called the M570U. It is an update to the M570A that will have a Core Duo processor instead of the single core Pentium M. Also, I heard rumor that ATI's high end Mobility (not sure if it will be badged the X1800 or X1900) will be an option on it.
Anyway, just a heads up as I am holding out for the update and you may want to as well. -
I was looking for a new laptop several weeks ago and found this forumn. After much reading and research I decided to go with a Clevo M570A. I'm ready to place my order today and decided to take 1 more look at the forumn and I see the post from Psiborg. **** you! Now I want the M570U!
