    Hei

i am having a very unusual problem with my computer, I think it's the IntelĀ® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN. i just deleted everything and installed xp home sp3 on the pc. everything works fine except the wireless.
It takes forever to connect. it finds the internett connection but wont connect. i have to change back and forth between the windows wireless manager and the Intelpro one. turn the wireless on and off. it starts to connect and under the authentication process it just disconnects. after alot of back and forth it finaly connects. this happens every time i start the pc and every time i lose the connection. i have updated the driver. i have another pc and it connects fine. and everybody else in the house connects just fine. so i am really not sure what the problem is. I have the compal ifl90/91.

Make sure you have all the drivers installed for your wireless. They can usually be found in the support section of your resellers website.

Edit: I know there seems to be multiple drivers for wireless, I haven't reformatted yet. So I wish I could be more help. I just recall there being a few drivers needed for wireless. wireless switch, the card itself, smartdog, etc.
