Ordered my HEL80 from xoticpc yesterday. Amber was pretty helpful. The main reason i geuss i got it from them was their ultra competitive pricing. Here the specs aside from the base

    - Matte screen
    -T7200 (2Ghz, 4Mb cache mem.)
    -Bluetooth, intel wireless card
    - 2 Gigz of ram
    -no OS
    -no DVDRW
    - 80 gig HD @ 5400

I got all that with shipping for 1460. Not only that, but from when i spoke to amber and the time my order was placed (yesterday) i should be receiving my HEL80 by this commin thursday or friday.

I just want to thank everyone who contributes to these forums, I have read every single post in all the Overclock stiky, HEL 80 lounge, and many other threads over the past month. Without all of yalls help I would not have been able to make this decision with as much confidence as I have now. Thank you.

Congratulations on your purchase, Mu'min786. That looks to be a great notebook you've got coming to you. And, welcome to the club! :)
I'm glad that you have read through both of those threads. There is a lot of useful information in both of them. They are both rather long by now and it takes some commitment to get through them. But it's definitely worth it.

I hope to see you around here in the future sharing your experiences with the rest of us Compal owners.
