Does anyone know anything about "Marasst Incorporation"? ( http://service.marasst.com/)? I just came across their website the other day, and they seem to have a whole lot of downloads and info available on a lot of Compal notebooks, including older models. Any reviews from people who have made use of them? Are they as good as they look? Thanks!

Im sure its just another taiwanese company.....making it easier for end users to obtain the products

why the skepticism? Most stuff is made in one spot and built to the blueprints of seperate companies, then they slap alternate labels on them....if they have a good warranty and you want to try their product I would go for it

Well, the company I work for is the Compal distributor for Latin America, and I never heard of them till I stumbled across the website by accident the other day... Still, I don't claim to be any kind of expert on any connections--official or otherwise--that are higher on the food chain than our company. It will be interesting to see what others know of it.
