Is there a 3rd antenna already in the 17 DIY OCZDIY17A2?

I remember swapping the Realtek to the correct slot so that I could enable/disable the wireless and seeing extra wires inside.

OCZ's support says no, that the extra wires are for TV card but the service manual I have says TV card takes one wire and the TV cards I see on EBay look like they take one wire.

OCZs guide to Whitebook Wireless Card Replacement has pics that show two extra unused wires one white and one black.

    Thanks

The OCZ Whitebook fully handles 3x3 cards not only the 5300 but the 5350. I verified both when I had one and swapped out the stock realtek card for a Intel 5350.

When I bought this laptop I read every post here :) I did read that and forgot it.

Thanks very much for finding it! I searched the forum for 5300 and didn't see it.

    Thanks to everyone who replied.
