Not as easy as first expected..
I have a Zepto Znote 6625WD.
I know I have a working booting CD, but when restarting it skips reading the CD and go on to Vista(which I'm sick of and therefore changing). Nothing happens trying to start the Ubunu program in Vista either.
I suspect the issue being that my noteook does not recognize the CD-room correctly. In the Bios the CD-room is on top, but it does not identify it. It just says CD-Room: "blank". I have even tried deleting the harddisk from the BIOS....it still neglect my CD-room
I have relized I mey have to upgrade my BIOS, but I am a noob and I cant seem to find the right procedure.
I have many virual CD-rooms. Could this affect the it?
If anyone feel like helping it would be much appriciated?

You could try to boot the LiveCD from an USB-stick instead and see if you can get the CD-drive to work inside Ubuntu. If it works, all you have to do is to install Ubuntu from the USB-stick
The easiest way to prepare your USB-stick is probably to use UNetbootin:

What happens when you open the boot menu (Usually F12, when on BIOS screen) and select the dvd drive while cd is in?

I think the bootmenu is on F10.
Installing Ubuntu on my Zepto Znote...
