Very handy tool from Intel:

But with both cores of my HEL80 T7400 on Workload Level 100% I reach (I think) insanely high temperatures: 95C ?
Can anyone post his results on 100% load?

This tool is very handy to measure the fan cycle time. Just look at the evolution of the temperature in idle mode. It goes from 48°C->42°C when the fan is running and 42°C->48°C when the fan is not running.
It is 2:20 for my HEL80 Bios 114B.
About 0:20 fan on.
About 2:00 fan off. -

Wow... there is no way it is getting that hot. My desktop Athlon 64 X2 4400+ was reading 75C and that was enough to make me panic. The problem ended up being the temperature probes not reporting correctly. Reflashing the BIOS sorted it all out quickly.

Oh my god, this little app got my temps into the 90's. This is a shock because I've tried a few others and the highest temps I "could" reach was mid 50's.
Since intel makes it, I assume they now how to best but these babies to work. I was worried my temps were "wrong" as I couldn't never reach above 50. I'm not sure if I should be relieved that the temp readings are accurate or worried that at 100% load temps sore into the 90's?
The problem with other software I've tried, (CPU Burn In and various other proggies) was that they could only get one processor at 100% so work load never reached max, thus only getting into the 50's.
Anyway, I wonder, should I or any HEL80 owner with a 2.0ghz+ core 2 duo be worried? (it should be noted that under normal work load, I never get out of the 50's) -
nevermind ;]

That was a bit too much and I never tried it again. -
