I would check out PCTorque - I believe they ship overseas. Also, DiscountLaptops is a possibility.

PCTorque does, DiscountLaptops does not. I think PCTorque would charge me for delivery if there was a flaw in my laptop, and that comes up to $750 for the 3 way trip... But i can't seem to find it again. Can anyone confirm? I am going away for awhile, so i will have limited internet access to see this...

However after 10 days, the end user pays for the transit to the PCTorque/sager while they cover the charge back to you...
There is a separate thread discussing PCTorque , discount laptops, powernotebooks and other resellers of Sager. It discusses warranty--international and US based... And issues like the advantage of buying a retail version of Windows OS... This thread are first hand information direct from the representatives &/or owners of the resellers...

There are several accounts of laptop repair ....that the laptop still has some defects or new defects, then you end up paying shipping several times just for repair... They don't have a Lemon Policy as seen on their website's policies...

I don't know if it is an isolated case, that is why I also started a poll regarding laptop defects & Life span for different brands of laptop including Sager.
With regards to the price, I did not ask the price of the warranty coz it varies & dependent on the price range of your notebook... In addition, it is improper to mention prices in a forum sponsored by the reseller where I got my information ( e.g. Respect to the forum moderators)
It is preferable to ask it directly prior to buying the notebook. -

According to Matt of Discount Laptop in the thread I mentioned above
"On shipping coverage, the customer is responsible for shipping the system to the Sager support center while the system is under the Sager warranty unless the failure occurs in the DOA period. Sager will ship the system back. That is unless the shipping coverage option is purchased at an additional cost. Some resellers offer the shipping coverage option, some do not."
According to Luke from PCTorque:
"DOA Policy (Dead on Arrival/Defective on Arrival): Starting 10/27/2003, if your system has any verifiable hardware issues within ten days of your invoice date (SHIP DATE), you need only provide Sager with a credit card deposit and Sager will ship a brand new system 2nd day shipping (continental USA only), including a return shipping label, to replace the defective system. In the event that a shipping time takes longer then 10 days, Sager will use the tracking number of the package and based on the Signed Delivery Date will extend Three more Days from Delivery Date ."
so for PCTorque, the return for defective laptops sent internationally, the end user has to pay for it.
According to Mr. Donald of PowerNotebooks
" Sagers DOA policy states that any failure within 10 days of the original shipping date will be covered by the Sager DOA policy. Under this policy Sager will pay for UPS Ground back to them, and then UPS 2nd Day Air back to the customer after it is repaired or replaced. In the alternative, if the customer wants to allow Sager to take an authorization on their credit card (not charging it, just taking an authorization which captures that amount of credit but doesnt actually charge the card) they will cross ship a new machine to the customer via UPS 2nd Day Air. Once the defective machine is returned, the authorization on the card goes away. This is all handled by Sager, not the reseller."
As the resellers mentioned before, the policy may change...
