You mean 1440x900 (16:10). Your resolution is 4:3.

The IFL90 is offered in 1440x900 resolution. Haven't heard of anyone on the forums owning one yet though.

yeah, I meant glossy 1440x900 resolution. It was available for pre-order on PNB and Xotic but was pulled later. Not sure is that would be coming soon.

it would totally own had it been available in matte ;] I've seen the WSXGA+ recently on a IFL90 and it was really really nice. Just couldn't see it in full taste unfortunately :( Only text-mode console Linux ;]

I agree with Ilovelamp. This matte WSXGA+ screen is VERY nice. Virtually no glare and very crisp and bright. Colors are very good too. Only had it for a day or two now though.
My only complaint is that my 40ish year old eyes think that the text is a wee bit small, but in Firefox I can adjust the size of text anyhow.

that is what I worry about myself as well- if it is not too big a resolution for such screen size. Since I run Linux that will not ofcourse be a problem because the dpi gets adjusted accordingly without functionality loss (unlike on window$, at least XP, where there is only two dpi settings and the bigger one is just nasty - unless I'm missing some info out ;)).

I will really have to get a LiveCD together with the new nvidia drivers and go and check it out asap, before they sell the one on sale in the town I am. It's reasonably hard to obtain the non-vbi with matte over here at least recently - they're very desirable ;)

Can you perhaphs post a high-resolution picture taken of the screen + some windows on the desktop in the desired res?
