I had averatec laptop 5 years ago when I was in Korea,
but had so many crashes and problems so I had to get rid of it after 6 months...

So I just wonder whether they mess up here too or do a fairly good job.

After two models and several units, I am a firm believer that most of Averatecs bad reputation was/is(?) due to poor cooling designs.

I have a unit that is now several years old and running like a top - because I modified the cooling enough to keep it from burning out the graphics processor. You can find the posts in this forum.
