    JFL92 black screen Any ideas for a fix?

    Hello all, hope one of you experts can help me out.
    I have a compal JFL92.
    The other day after a reboot the screen went blank, completely black, nothing as if it's turned off.
    I can still hear the boot up noises as windows starts just I have no visuals :( any ideas?

    Things I've tried:
    *Removing the battery and draining the power by holding the power button.
    *Checking internal connections, every thing seems connected and in place, also cleaned out dust while I was in there.
    *connecting a VGA cable to a monitor and a tv but no signal is received from the laptop.
