It is thermal hardware added to the machine so it can support the new Penryn CPU's.

Ah, but what is it about Penryn CPUs that require it where the old CPUs did not? Does it help monitor temperature?

Do you mean a different heat sink than the 65nm CPU's?
Or, are you talking about the the heat sensors for the touch sensitive keys? -

I meant there were modification for the CPU.
At this time we don't have the specifics of each component they revised. We expect to have our first look inside of the machine tomorrow.
