    Hey Guys,

I know cooling is a big thing with this laptop cause the internal cooling SUCKS. So I am looking for a cooler that specifically shows good improvement on the JHL90. I know what coolers are good etc... but I don't have the time to try a thousand different coolers for this thing :)

    Thanks Guys!

Yup the internal cooling does indeed suck.

I bought a Zalman NC2000 about a year ago and I really love it. Here's a post I made at the time.

I would definitely recommend it. Look in the marketplace, there's one for sale at a really great price.

    Hey yoyoman,

Thanks! I was worried people would just start randomly shouting out coolers but I indeed need something that works great for my JHL90. Again thanks!!

Yeah, ZM-NC2000 is a good choice. It's just a shame mine doesn't perform as well as it used to (still decent, though). Might have to open it up and clean it.

And speaking of which, be sure to clean out the fans and vents. I can drop 4-5 degrees with a simple blast from a can of air. Certainly worth it. :D

No problem. I'm sure you'll be of great assistance to me too when I eventually try (and inevitably struggle) installing Win7 on my laptop. :p

BTW, how is gaming performance on Win7 for the JHL90...any difference compared to Vista?

Well I never ran Vista so I really can't compare :p

However I have no problems gaming in Windows 7... though I definitely don't do a lot of it :) I tried Modern Warfare 1 on it, and it seemed to run smooth... though definitely not perfect at the 1680x1050 res.

Still can't complain. I have a copy of Flight Simulator X which I want to try on this thing. I just gotta find time :) And yes let me know when you decided Windows 7 (cause it is definitely worth it).

So guys I am about to order an NC2000. I just want to be sure... cause I hear a lot of good stuff about the NZXT Cryo LX or whatever it is...

Is the NC2000 the right cooler for my JHL90??
