    Hi,

The JHL90 was delivered with Vista Home Basic 32-bit with all the drivers installed correctly. Bluetooth was working ok.

But since 32-bit OS could not address the whole 4 GB of memory, I installed Vista Ultimate x64. Everything works smooth except for bluetooth.

I installed the wireless drivers, the wireless switch and after that i tried installing the BT drivers. I get the message "Please turn on or plug in your Bluetooth device in order to continue intallation".

There's a hardware switch, so I turned it off (including WLan of course) and then the Wireless Switch tells me there's no Wlan or Bluetooth. Then installed the driver and at the message turned on the hardware switch. Nothing...

Fn + F2 is not working either, it does nothing at all (pressed it a couple of times).
I'm sure there is a BT module in the notebook.
I flashed the bios to 1.10 but no cure there either.

Edit: there are no unknown devices or bluetooth devices in the device manager either.

    Any suggestions?

Just to clear that, did you install the drivers for Vistax64?

Yes, I tried 2 installs, one specifically under a Win64 subdirectory.
It is a different install than the other, because it's showing a Widthcomm install interface. This one gives no errors at all, but still no bluetooth devices and no fn + f2 interaction.

Did you try finding the latest BT drivers for Vista x64? Maybe there is a new version for BT that fixes that.

Just install the Wireless Select Switch, this is needed to turn the BT and Wlan module on and off.
The switch is just to activate the hardware and to turn it on, the Wireless Select Switch software is allowing you to select the turn Wlan on or BT on or to turn them both on or to turn them both off.

It is already installed. It just gives me an interface with only a WIFI button but it is not even working, e.g. as I press it, nothing happens.

Is there another version of the Wireless Select Switch available?
    I have version 1.0.0.1001C.
"Wireless LAN enabled" is mentioned when I hover above the icon in the tasktray.

    Edit:
I installed 2.0.0.2 --> no difference, and fn + f2 is still not working. "Sigh"
