Hello. I recently purchased the jhl90(np2096) fro xoticpc. Anyway, I ordered with out and OS with the goal to use my current windows xp pro cd. All went well. I have XP installed and got most of the drivers working. However I am having a few problem.

    1. I have installed the drivers for the fingerprint reader of of the CD and compal's site only to have it tell me that I don't have the fingerprint reader installed. So really i need help finding a driver that will let me use my fingerprint reader on xp(logon purposes). It isn't completely necessary but since it is brand new I would like all the parts working correctly.

    2. I have also installed the sound drivers from the provided CD only to have my mic not work. Neither the on board or my headset are working. On all my other computer i have worked on there is often and Realtek sound manager in addition to the Windows speaker icon and mixer. I do not have this. My on board mic receives nothing while my headset only gives static. i have tried reinstalling the drivers with no avail.

    3. I installed the ALPS driver for the touchpad like everyone said too. however I am lost on how to configure it. When I open the menu from the bottom right i get an interface but I don't know how to enable tap to click ir the side scrolling. I am constantly hitting the touchpad while typeing and any help on how to fix this would be appreciated.

    4. LAST ONE WOOT! Anyway, I also have one kinda annoying problem. The infamous "unknown device" in device manager. I have attached a screenshot so hopefully you guys can help figure out what it is. I have installed all the drivers on the CD.

Thanks for all the help!! I know its a lot but I really want this to work correctly. I know NBR is the place to get help so hopefully you guys know what to do. Thanks in advance!!

for fingerprinter it have same issue with all users of all notebooks brands.

for audio driver go to realtek official site and download their driver will work fine.

for ALPS touchpad driver ,download latest version from Dell site,it will have much useful options.
