Hi Guys (n Gals if any)

A good mate of mine has just got a Compal JFW91 and Ive looked on the Compal site for drivers/bios updates as I do with my IFL90 but they dont seem to have anything for that model. He did get a driver cd but its just nice to know whats new etc.

Anyone know a site that lists the latest releases?

I looked on here hxxp://service1.marasst.com/Cnotebooks/jfw91_01_xp32.htm but they seem to be old hes already at bios 103.

    Cheers

JFW 91 seems an unpopular model in compal section. Besides, Comapl doesn't always provide most updated driver.
My best way to collect the most recent driver is to resort to each individual device manufacturer's own driver. Go to Device Manager and look up every component in notebook. Download or find driver from respective company's website (or alternate source). It will take awhile to do on first time but you can burn all the drivers you found on cd/dvd thus no need to do so on second time.

Sorry I've no clue on bios though.

Why not, bto is a known Compal reseller, so that is not a mistake or fake for sure. It fixes some bugs... Make sure you prepare both your old and new BIOS, just in case...
