Not a sample, this is the production model of the OCZ whitebook :D

It does look thicker than it actually is.......

The sticker is already applied when we received the notebook, nothing we could do.

    Hi Rob,

Is your BluRay a writer or read only?

OCZ says it is a reader only, we have not received any of the OCZ models with their Blu-ray. That option will be updated shortly.

Rob, I noticed that you offer the express card remote. Can you still use it if you opt for the 4GB Robson Turbo?

Turbo memory is currently not supported and will not function in this model. The express remotes use the express slot and when functional would not conflict with turbo memory.

What? Turbo memory not supported on the production model? Is this because of the conflict with Blue Tooth? I thought that you can have one but not both. No turbo? Say it ain't so.

Nothing to do with BT on the production model, turbo memory will not function and as per OCZ is not currently supported. This model has two mini-pciE slots. one for wireless and the 2nd for a tv tuner and possible future turbo memory support.

There was alot of talk about the keyboard on this model. It will toggle red, blue, green via the Fn + F10 key.

My guess is that we will start receiving them by the end of the week. I'm sure you will hear about it when they start to arrive (pictures, videos, reviews etc).

The barebone's will be offered in a few weeks, after we catch up on all the full system pre-orders.
