Need something big on my desk so I don't have to rely on the Kohjinsha all the time. Anyway, I was wondering is there any bios update that allows me to put in more memory than 768? Also where can I find drivers for this since Sharp doesn't have anything on their website.. Thanks

Best thing I can recommend is to collect as much info on your hardware as you can and search for drivers based on that info. Doesn't hurt to post in multiple forums either when your hitting dead-ends on some of the drivers. This was the only way i was able to acquire all the drivers for my AV18.

If you've already got an operable OS running go to System Properties and then the Hardware Tab and/or Device Properties. From there you can see a list of what hardware the OS has already detected.

You can use Intel's Chipset ID Utility to see what chipset your RD10 has and then search and download the correct drivers from the website. Try v2.91 first and if it doesn't detect try the newer version of the utility: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/fil...XP+Professional&lang=eng&strOSs=44&submit=Go!

From what i've read the RD10 has an Nvidia's GeForce4 420 Go Graphics Card. NVidia does not support mobile graphics cards which is a bummer but give www.laptopvideo2go.com a shot. They offer modified drivers specifically for laptops.

As for the 10/100 Ethernet / 802.11b WiFi / 56K Modem, i have no idea what make or model they are but if they are working on your laptop now the Device Properties will give you all the info you need to search for them.

As for the BIOS update i think you might be out of luck on that. I have yet to find ANY BIOS updates for my AV18 laptop. But keep searching. If anything i wouldn't be surprised if somone created a modified BIOS for sharp laptops.
