Just got my K|N QX9300 Nagamaki

No i didnt do carbon fiber I got something special instore for you guys in a few weeks. =)

 

I have a few computers here, so let me know what Programs you want me to run bud and I willg et them done for you as I know you have been in debate mode for a while. I dont have the crysis becnhamark tool so I need to find out where to get that. I only have a few games lying around like Warhammer and WoW ( if i can find the disk)

also, what are your specs, in case missed you posting them someplace else, and how was your doing business with K|N? anyproblems?

QX9300- Only OCEd to 2.8 (just on the multiplier)
2- 320 HD's
Vista Ultimate
2- 3870's crossfire


My dealings with Mark at K|N were awesome. We changed my specs and he actually took the time to update me at least 3 times a day since I made at least 50 changes to my order.

I also had ordered the Odachi which I ended up cancelling for antoher Nagamaki which is waiting for the .....something =)

He called me to make sure it arrived and booted fine. He hand delivered mine down to Fed-ex to make sure it got here for a saturday delivery.

He went over every combination we could do and gave me live benchmarks as they were being done to mine to figure out which config would suite me the best.

Lets see....I cant really brag any more about my experience, but I will say in 8 years of being in business for myself it was the best buying experience I have ever went through, not to mention I was willing to spend a ton more than I did and he told me it would be a waste of money that I would never use it. So he actually cut his sale down to mae sure I got the absolute best setup I could possibly have.


PS: with 3dmark's remeber that OCing is king, so it probally wont go as high as say a OC'd 9100. But gaming should be as good if not better. And I can play 2 games at once lol

PSS: The deisng might not be done for 3 weeks or so, so I cant let the cat out of the bag as to what quite yet. But its goign to blow everything away I assure you =)

 

mhooper, congrats on the rig. got the time to run an out-of-the box 3dmark? just for comparison sakes..

 

Anyone know of a quickdowload site for 3dmark I overworte my zip drive on accident for programs for the iphone lol

I'm hoping to see what ya pull.. I've already got the x9100, and I expect it to perform well. I am thinking bout ordering a qx9300 as well. Found a good deal on a retail one(I don't do ES), and I'm thinkin that just for the sake of ultimate performance it may be fun to throw one in the new rig. So, please don't disappoint me!

does it smell like sweet victory? or simply pure dominance? Let me know, chances are that im getting one of these very soon. I love everything about the nagamaki, except the one thing where I don't understand why you can get 3year warranty from xoticpc while KN only offers 1 year to start with.

 

You can get a 3 year through K|N- Actuall its a 3 year manufacture warranty through Mark

you say no overclock multiplier when use in normal mode? but in 3dmark test it showed oc'ed that to 2.8 ghz. what stage you say?

 

It might have changed on startup it showed it as 2.53 on my screen hmmmmm. They deleted my results I guess. Someone got a screenshot of it a few pages back. Sorry I dont use 3dmark that ofeten so Im a noob when it comes to it

That was at 2.793 =) Sorry for my mistake. It had 2 seperate readings on my screen and was trying to find the other test I had requested. Wil edit my orginal post not to confuse. Going to OC it up a little higher tonight

I think he played both sites and showed his benchmark at 2 sites. I don't understand why you had to send people who read it form NBR to read at GOG?

best i got was 14,100 this was out the box with stock cpu/driver/gpu and no over clocking, so he got me with his 14,505.

but I think 9800gt sli more stable than 3870cf when oc'ed becuase I've read form Mark at GOG that he told oc'ed 3870 hadn't got higher 3dmark more than stock. If I haven't wrong memory

 

oh, he did ban me over there. well you can ell him that im the one in California and not E-wrecked. i hadn't posted over there in a few days, but did notice that when E had more words, he banned me with him..interesting. but yet this is on the front page.....

nah, it's weird. it added his benchmark to my list. since mine was auto login. at first i thought it was one of mine. till i looked again at the q9300 part. it may have to do with him not having a registered copy...not sure.

 

uhm..buddy, if I click a link to 3dmark, it shouldnt log me into your account..and it shouldnt be loggin anyone else in either.

 

E-wrecked I dont know and quite frankly doesnt matter to me either way. Your in Florida Im in Daytona Beach you can come watch the program run if it makes you feel more better

nice... low temps and the qx is running fine.

would like to hear how the battery last if you ever get round to it. or how long it takes to get to 80 percent. since waiting for a battery to drain really isn't helping the constant request of benchmarks be thrown your way.
