    Hi.

For reasons I won't go into I'm trying to make my own build on the Averatec 6130.

I went their site for the various drivers http://www.averatec.com/customercare/6100dl.htm

But the WAN driver wasn't working and then I found out its the wrong one and that I had to get the Ralink driver from the Ralink site itself. This has me doubting that the drivers they list are accurate.

Anyway the reason for the post is that the special function keys won't work and I can't find the keyboard driver anywhere. Is there somewhere I can get one?

Building your own laptop... impressive [ :D]

none the less, i'm pretty sure that FN button is firmware based for those functions to work. Mainly becuase you can use them in dos based applications, and you can use them anywhere outside of windows also.

Yes, I see what you mean. I was only trying fn+F1 to place it in standby. Now I see you have to set that in power options. Thanks for the quick reply!
