    Hello there.

I need the flickedyflackedy thats underneath the keys on a Zepto Nox A15 since my dear and very muched loved daughter decided to klinkedyklank off some of the keys today. It is hell getting them back and now one of them are
busted. Leaving me with the key in between Alt Gr and CTRL (to the right) not being there.

    Clarifying.

The key is set with two squareshaped sort of things, i need the smallest of those parts thus mine has snapped. Does anyone know where i can get a hold of one? I havent gotten any reply from Zepto regarding it and if they suggest i send the computer for repairs im going to kill something.

Where can i get it, what does it cost?

Maybe i shouldve added a picture of the broken part, only its so tiny i can barely see it. Ill give it a go if noone gets what im looking for here.

Where would i get a keyboard and how much are they for?

And wouldnt that be alot more expensive for an unemployed since recently dad of small children who really doesnt put the computer in the first room. :D

Although, how much would one have to pay, would (if they replied) Zepto Scandinavia be interested in selling one?

I have the same problem with my F11 key coming loose. Spoke to a rep about it and they said i would have to replace the whole keyboard. Cant remember the exact price but it was around £50

I'm just gunna buy a few off ebay, see if any fit. Surley its a pretty generic part

50 Euro. Id rather be without it. What older notebook models are compatible with the Nox A15 keyboard, anyone know? This is ridicilous.

I have the insurance so i could get it sent in for free and have it fixed but its such a small thing i dont want that either, the cost for 1 key would be what. $2 + postage... I use the computer for school (3D CAD Solidworks) and its hard to find a replacement that deals with heavy programs like that... meaning i dont want to send the comp. in because i need it to finish the studies aswell... Guess im stuck.

Although, anyone have a clue which models of keyboards might fit the Nox A15, let me know ill just get one of those used if the parts are as said above, generic...

FYI Zepto DK still hasnt replied to the email i sent about this, eagerly awaiting their response.

Off topic but swap out the gpu for a quadro fx770m, solidworks flies even with huge assemblies and realview is also enabled

Yeah that would be sweet. Though costly to avoid breaching warranties and whatnots... Ill keep it in mind for laterons. Thanks.

    Hey I didn't make the prices :)
There is no other manufacturer that fits. These laptops are built by Zepto DK. So there is not compatible keyboard.

When you say theres no compatible keyboards do you mean the whole keyboard as I could understand that, but zepto must buy in those little plastic brackets that were talking about. In that case we just need a part number, or the spec... something that means we dont have to spend £50 on a tiny bit of plastic

You're right, but they designed everything there selves, so where that is coming from is unknown for me. But I do know that they don't sell just a single part. Then they need to take a good keyboard apart for just 1 small thing.

Yeah understandable, nobody's looking to throw a keyboard for the small part. =) Then ill switch this (worn) keyboard. Just looking for the easiest way out saving everybody trouble and money...

Im getting a keyboard for an older Znote lateron im going to check if thats the same parts underneath there, still some hope in me. Otherwise ill just make the insurance claim and use what i paid for when i got the laptop, seems so far out there tho.

Anyone think Zepto would ship a keyboard if i take pictures of the broken part and all? (Im laughing a bit myself here, but you never know.=) )

    Where are you located?

You can send us the picture of the part you need. Many of the distributors have a few spares lying around so we might be able to help you.

You will need to pay for shipping costs and a small handling fee.

You should get a ruler and check the dimensions for comparison of potential replacements. Any standard PS/2 keyboard should work, they all have the same ribbon cables/connectors. You just have to make sure that you get a keyboard that matches for size and shape and possibly color, and the right price. I wouldn't pay more than $30 for a keyboard. Oops almost forgot, probably gonna want to make sure that you get a keyboard with the correct symbols for your country.

I have ordered the parts from ZeptoSG now, hopefully theyll arrive next week ill let everyone know if it works replacing (shouldnt be a problem) so the rest of you will know if this is a good of a way to sort the problem without using warranties, saving cash on parts instead of complete keyboards and all.

I recieved two sets of parts today, now to the assembling. =) ZeptoSG might have saved me 2 weeks of RMA'ing the computer or whatsitcalled when you send it in on insurance.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAnnnd two minutes later the key is back in its place, working like a bloody charm!

Thanks ZeptoSG for the help, the customerservice with Zepto appears to be pretty god damn excellent if you look in the right place. ;) )Although ive never had any real problems with the service otherwise either. =)

For you who were thinking of getting spares like this, do it, but get two sets theyre very tricky to get in place depending on which key it is.

    Hi ZeptoSG,

I seem to have exactly the same problem as b00red, i.e. one keyboard hinge is broken and needs replacement.

After contacting Zepto's support in Scandinavia five times the last two months(twice over the phone) they still have not managed to address my issue. At the last phone call they told me that a sales rep would call me back which never happened and they have not replied to my email I sent to them after that.

Would it be possible for you to help me out like you so kindly did for b00red? Could you please email me your contact details to

It would be good if you can PM us your requirements. We are normally not supposed to offer you keyboard parts unless if Zepto themselves is too overwhelmed to take care of you.
