First to 16,000... another first as 17,000 3D06 Marks are chalked up on the Killer Notebooks Nagamaki.
"Release the hounds!"

-
I am speechless!
-
So am I. Thats a blazing fast laptop. It must run crysis at like 100fps.
-
... (Sound of being speechless)... I have got to see a video of this in action.
-
congradulations!! 17k now broken!! wooohooo!!
only 20 more other records to break now...*LOL* -
brilliant. So he got the boost button working?
So, is Mark up for 18K?
yay. Haha, that's like 5000 more than my friend's Desktop's 4850. Wait until he sees this! -
Gratz!!! When your good, your good, When your KILLER NOTEBOOKS, your Awesome!
-
very high score but sm3.0 is higher than sm2.0 about 1.5k which so much different
when look at rkcomputer score that cpu oc'ed at 3.3 ghz the different score between sm3.0 and sm2.0 is only 800 so I think this score is strange. I don't want to flame here but I think this score is same as Ashintar score (maybe flubb score) -
I wish he didn't have to be so offensive to NBR members. We're all enthusiasts, so it's only natural for people to wonder "how?" so they can tweak their own systems and get the most juice out of the hardware.
K|N your beef is with the mods. Leave it there. Some shady business went down in the Clevo section, but you always got nothing but love from the regular posters. Of course e-peen is involved, but your holy crusade is becoming a tad misdirected. -
Whats the vantage score on that?
I cant seem to see this record in the ORB website. Have you tried submitting this score? -
-
- I posted one result and IMMEDIATELY was TOLD everything about MY OWN system and processor.
- I posted a picture of the bottom of the computer and was immediately attacked and accused of making the picture in Photoshop. I think the "Photoshop" argument is a little played out. Does anyone actually know someone that can create a bottom of a notebook in Photoshop from scratch? I don't.
- You have a few people running around on personal smear campaigns who become the face of the forum. They are the people who can never just read a post and get something out of it or walk away. They need to argue and flame to no end.
- I think when he got banned for what he alleges is "made up stuff" (as far as I can see) and inability to even respond to the negative publicity campaign probably about did them all in over there.
So they went about their own way. If my time line is correct, they were still sharing information and trying to help the community as a whole when kicked off NBR (for whatever). Like I bulleted above, you have the people that have their own agenda that pretty much ruined that for everyone NOT a Killer Notebooks customer.
Amazing how certain members here can copy and paste verbatim anything about them and anything they want to critique from the GoG forum, then when it comes to seeing a score in a contest they created that is better than their own... they suddenly "can't gain access to the site."
I don't think the statement made were against everyone probably just directed at certain individuals. When reading about the over clocking database, game sections etc. it seems they want anyone that is passionate to contribute to it. I would assume that means people from any forum that want to go and be civilized and be a part of their community. That is what I get out of it.

Awesome score there gunner . Id love to see some other in game benches when you have the time . Games like crysis and farcry 2 are being slaughtered by the nvidia cards atm and i get the feeling that may never change, alot of these games all have the nvidia sponsor logo and almost seem crippled on the ATIs which they should not be , it may also be down to the fact that the drivers for these mobility cards are not mature enough yet like there desktop counterparts.
-
Quad, that was posted at GoG, and I thought I would share it.
I have the Q9200 quad core and got almost 16,000 (Link).
I am hoping once the overclocking database comes out with the Boost Button I can get into the 16k club (and be somebody)
I know Killer does their own drivers and are now starting on the gaming benchmarks for addition to the overclocking database they have. The first game they said they are starting with is Far Cry 2.
-
my point is this score may be not run at standard settings. it may be post processing or something that managed to off. E-wrecked and johnksss have done the test with post processing or something off that they gained 800 point from normal test (also power up in sm3.0 score but sm2.0). If he send futuremark sites this score , everyone'll believe in this score and cheers with him

The same person that made excuse after excuse as to why, with LOWER scores he actually had the best scores?
We talking about the same guy the accused Hooper of cheating?
I see Hooper going out of his way to post results for whatever was asked of him. Now I don't see him too much over here. Yet another person sick of the non-stop haranguing and flaming that threw their hands up and left.
E-Wrecked cheated to get to 16k. He cheapened the whole contest and cast doubt on everyone's scores. Maybe the 17,000+ is the rebuttal to that Zeph. Maybe it is to show that the 16,000+ scores were real and valid and if they are going to "tweak" settings, then this is what you would get.
Either way, why not take it up with THEM? I said right from the beginning " I got almost 16k with my Q9200. I am trying to get into the real 16k club." Problem is that even if I do, and post it, thanks again to E-Wrecked no one will believe it.
I was having fun and liked the competition, but that has been cheapened and belittled. Why does it seem like the usual suspects are around when the fun ends?
That's my final word on it. So commence the attacks. -
Personally, I would never buy anything from KillerNotebooks. No matter how cutting edge or whatever their stuff is.
I simply don't like the way they present themselves to the interested consumer out there. Not my style.
So I will get stuffed before they tell me to:

Well, eat this... 17,000 3D06 Marks with a QX9300 Nagamaki.
The over clocking database will premiere after Thanksgiving... live to all Killer Notebooks customers!". End quote.
Who wants to be your customer anyway with your attitude???
If you believe you have something to prove then you are going about it in totally the wrong way.
No matter if you have the current 3D 06 record or not.
Sorry, but I am not impressed. -
Why are you bringing my name into this? I haven't posted anything for quite some time, because I didn't have a functioning computer. I had a bad BIOS flash and it bricked the whole dang thing. Been waiting on getting it back up and running. Xotic, by the way, sent me a whole new rig and they're gonna deal with the old one. I spent a week trying to recover it myself, to no avail.. Xotic received it on this past Wednesday, and by Saturday I had a brand new rig in front of me. I shoulda sent it in immediately, but tried to recover the BIOS myself. Hence, no posts of comparison for the past 2 weeks. But, that aside..
What do I have to do with anything? I never claimed to have the higher scores, aside from the ones ran @ default & posted to Orb. There's still not a single system with the 3870s in Crossfire that are posted to orb, and better than mine. Well, that's cause they're not run @ default. So, technically speaking.. On record, I do have the better scores. And, on NBR, I have the better scores. And on GoG, I wouldn't know because it's all heresay. But, if you wanna take it to the Judges for their decision then I say you ask Orb/Futuremark, seeing as they're the ones who post/determine the scores. Yet, none of these K|N runs are ever submitted. Whys that? And, if they are submitted..then they're held private so no one else can see they are quite possibly flubbed..or illegitimate. Once there is a public score on Orb that beats mine..then I will shut my mouth. Til then, I can brag about whatever I want because I have Orb/Futuremark to back me up. -
Of course people will question the numbers. This happens with any record that is set. Until there is proof given, in my eyes, no record has been set. I agree with E-Wrecked that until it is up on Orb showing default settings and everything, why should anyone believe it? -

Another flame fest bashing Killer Notebooks YAY!
Teejay, RunningGunner just linked a post back to the thread and he is getting flamed. He said he hadn't posted much here because he sees people being flamed when they do. So what happens? What he said has happened in the past and kept him form posting is happening in this thread.
Killer Notebooks was banned over here for whatever reason. This forum is seriously becoming personal attacks and far less sharing and you can trace that back to a few individuals.
I for one am sick of being attacked by E-wrecked for- Cheating
- Not posting real scores
- Being a "shill account"
- Not owning a system (yes this was a cheap shot too)
- and being maybe 3 other members.
So he talks about submitting to ORB so I do and post screenshots of the ORB profile PROVING that it was an unflubbed score beyond a shadow of a doubt with a 15,911 or something like that not my highest score just was a BS run to once again prove he is full of ****.
THen he post a 16,240 that has NOT yes NOT been posted to ORB but claims it as the record.(BULL****) Cmon this is ridiculus. He cheats and calls it fair I play fair he calls a foul. Im over it. He is a plauge to this forum.
Its old. It's tiresome, and it goes on and on and on.
So if anyone wants benchmarks from FarCry2, New Crysis scores, Crysis Warhead, More COD4 further into the stages, Bioshock, Witcher, Half Life Orange Box and a slew of other games... send me a PM and I will help you. I will post here once in a while. Right now I feel like I spend 15 minutes posting, and 45 minutes defending myself. I'm sick of it quite frankly.
I came in and try to help the community I posted more benchmarks, test, and everything long before anyone else, and I continued to do it, but it has to stop. I have tried to be partial and patient. I even told E-Wrecked what the PLL was so he could over clock his system!
I truly am sorry to all of those people/ NBR friends who were supportive and thankful for the time I spent doing so.
You have your wonderful misc people like E-wrecked and Johnkss (sometimes) to thank for making false accusation that I was cheating. For what? Why would I cheat I'm not winning anything. I'm getting nothing for it. I even go to links to prove everything I posted was real and the smear campaigns continue and nothing is done to them. I have already succeeded in life. I don't need to falsify some scores on an internet forum to make myself feel better.
I have been watching the degradation of this section of the forum for too long. So I guess this is a little bit of a farewell speech. You all have much fun getting your questions answered with bogus information and waiting months for benchmarks.
Oh and BTW unlike what has been posted you don't have to do major modifications to reset the BIOS from over clocking and you don't pick one card at a time to over clock. "Witchdoctor of the Whitebook"

Is it just me, or are people making this way more complicated than it should be.
Is it that hard to post a score on ORB and just let that be the end?
Posted on ORB = proof. Simple? -
-
wow this thread is going it's course..
well, since we all talking about records and all.
i hold them all except for 3d06@1280x1024
so all hail the king!! yay me!
*LOL* -
if you look at K|N score and compare with your score, you'll see different between sm3.0 score. K|N has 1400 point more so It's impossible that only changing driver. same cpu run as similar speed but very different score. That's why I think he off something in 3dmark

Man I've missed my baby.
Maybe I'll throw this $400 Toshiba Satellite against the wall to celebrate. -
Thats exactly why I posted here.
Killer Notebooks are wrecking potential sales with a crappy attitude.
FFS get with it.
You have shown great potential. Prove it and you will be doing good.
A better competitive attitude would draw customers. Not chase them away. -
Maybe Mods shouldn't comment. It seems somewhat inappropriate for Mods to be siding for or against a reseller.
-
Well, the mods tend to comment whether asked to or not. This is an open forum, and Ive been cited/warned on 3 occassions because of legitimate postings.. and I was not flaming, cussing, or degrading anyone. However, there is sometimes a thread that can get heated(the KN heatmod thread), and the mods will step in and shut it down. I have made my most valiant attempt to not degrade anyone, any system, or any reseller since I realized it's potentially hurting another persons income. I'm not around here to discount anyone's efforts toward improving a systems performance. I'm not here to hurt the reputation of any companies(they can do that on their own). I'm here to offer insight into the workings of other companies, whether good or bad. And, instead of living under some false persona of "We are *fill in blank reseller* and we rock", why not just be a non-intimidating force and show what you can do..submit your results to a non-biased public arena, such as Orb..seeing as they are the determining factor at the end of the day. If your results are legit, then so be it. You don't see many resellers on NBR that post big, braggin rights for benchmarks.. As a matter of fact, resellers shouldn't rely on benchmarks to sell their systems. They should rely on customer service, and customer focused RESELLING. You didn't lay the egg, you just hatched the egg. So, as a profitable, and reputable company, it is probably best you don't point fingers towards other individuals who are not your competition. Instead, time is probably better invested towards making sure customers are satisfied. Cause, if your system scores 98,059,495,495,222,455 3dmarks.. and then the screen goes out.. Is your reseller going to replace it? Are you going to jump through hoops to accomplish an RMA? And, if it costs the company money..are they going to be willing to assist you to keep you happy, knowing that next time you'll be back to do business?
I posted a thread a while back about why I chose Xotic, and I was severely flamed for it. Including flaming for cross-posting in my HOME, the Gateway forum.. Just opening eyes people.. you can take from it what you want. This is just a small background to backlashing currently going on.
http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=311182
I think this whole arena has become convoluted, with people speaking on behalf of their reseller. Here's the short of it. The OCZ is not made by Xotic, K|N, RK, RJ, etc. It is created by Arima/Flextronics. OCZ is a reseller. If there's one performance gain that is available by a single entitiy, then it can be applied by any other entity. So, as opposed to personal attacks, pointing fingers, and causing strife within the "OCZ" Community.. wouldn't it make more sense to motivate one another, and push each entity(person or company) to excel and succeed? If you're an XoticPC cronie, a K|N wanna-be-internet-thug, or an RK supporter.. Get over it! It's just a computer! We all have our opinions, and when opinions cause harm to others..then they become more than opinions. They become insults.
There's no reason to mislead potential customers, or clients by posting false scores. There's no reason to shun people because they support one brand vs. another. Do you hate on your mom cause she prefers Chic-fil-a vs. McDonalds? they both have chicken nuggets. And, your preference shouldn't cause her to feel guilt or malace because of it. However, these companies both post the nutritional values, so that consumer make educated decisions.. And while those values may be misleading, they are also fully disclosed. So, an educated consumer can make an educated decision. I understand that may be a lame comparison..but if you look past the comparison, and ask yourself how it TRULY pertains..you'll understand.
Gather from this what you like.. the rest is up to you. -
and what i got from that is.........
im still the king!! 20 wins and 1 loss...ROTFLMAO! -
Bow down john.. you just got better drivers ;P
-
just kidding!! -
This is getting out of hand.
Just submit your scores to ORB so you dont get accused of cheating.
Again, may i ask what you got for Vantage? (if it was run) -
Flipfire,
Im not sure but I believe that was Marks run not Running Gunners.
Running Gunner was just linking to it. -
Not drives fool! And yea.. I hope you weren't meaning I need to buy NVIDIA cardsCause honestly, I am trying to expand my horizons..and learn about these ATI monsters. Believe this.. when the ATI Drivers finally catch up to where NVIDIA SLI drivers are, thie rig will be a MONSTER! It's like then the 7950 GTX SLI came out.. lame! And you actually made the comment to me a while back about how your only hesitation was drivers for SLI. And that same hesitation stopped me from getting a dell w/ 8800m gtx sli. Well, Now.. ATI is in the same boat. The only difference is that once a month they DO release official drivers. And they will learn how to maximize these things.. HOPEFULLY.
Otherwise, I'll just borrow your GTXs -
I was banned at GoG
I think because I talked about his test is flubbed test and I've asked him to add his result in ORB so after that I got banned. -
so how about that far cry 2 benchmark !? and then crysis and then stalker clear sky and then fallout 3
-
MastaMarek are you asking me?
-
talkin to anyone who has an OCZ
-
-
-
I can't acces to GoG forum so I don't have a link too
-
The short of it is, if someone wants to come here and spend 15 seconds to register and validate their efforts in this forum..then they are welcome to. If they don't care to, then they shouldnt need a rep posting mini-screen shots to prove a point. Orb is the end-all say-all at this point, and I hope everyone else can come to agreement on that. Otherwise.. there is no comparative balance.
