    That's interesting; unfortunately, I can't get a hold of the MXM specifications, but if I recall correctly, that suggests that the NVidia card is of the HE variety - the extra column of pins being there for added power supply, I believe - while the ATi card is not an HE subversion of the MXM "standard," implying, if I recall correctly, that it may run cooler.

    Also, just to give Clevo a little bit of the benefit where it's due - as of the debut of the 8800M, NVidia decided to start manufacturing a lot more of the overall GPU card in-house instead of basically shipping loose chips to the vendors so each vendor could custom-design its own PCB/GPU layout. As far as I know, this new regime still applies to the new 9-series, so the construction of the NVidia-based GPU is more the fault (if you will) of NVidia than of Clevo.

    It looks like the ati card is a mxm3 while the 9800m is a IV card. I'm really not expecting to see the IV cards working in the OCZ.
