I have a Samsung V25 Notebook, which I bought a year ago. Today there seems to be a problem with the screen. There is a Turquoise coloured fuzz that is mainly affecting areas that are normally white, but it is working fine otherwise. There are times (if you tilt/hold the screen a certain way) that the display is normal but the fuzz returns with movement. The notebook hasn't been dropped or anything so I don't know why this has happened. I just wanted to know if anyone had any idea what the problem was and what is the best way of dealing with it. The notebook is no longer under guarentee, so I'll be paying for anything needed myself.

Hope this is the right place to post and that someone has some suggestions to help. Thanks.

It's possible that the display is damaged, but more likely it's just out of whack for some reason. The first thing I'd do is hunt down teh latest display drivers and install those.

I think it's the video card. My desktop had a similar issuem things that were white showed up as pale red. My dad bought a new monitor, but it didn't help. We ended up getting a cutting-edge radeon 7000 as a replacement, and it worked fine.

Where would I find the drivers, sorry I'm not great with computers. Also how would I know if it's the video card - everything else is okay and at times the display is fine. It's as if something has come loose or something. [ :(]

[Edit] I've just noticed that some of the areas meant to be black are covered in red dots too.

I'm really stuck, with this problem [ :(]

Samsung has international warranty. Take it to one of there service centers and get it checked.
