I own a laptop made by Hypersonic, which no longer makes them since they were bought out by OCZ. And from what I can tell, the forum/tech support is nonexistent so I figured I would give this a try.
My laptop is an Aviator CX7 and a while back the screen developed a 2" wide vertical white line from top to bottom on the left side of the screen. I've been looking online recently for a replacement screen and have found several, but non are specifically for Hypersonic, which doesn't surprise me. The ones I found were all from Alienware, Dell, etc. , but the part number and specs match that of mine exactly. So my question is: will an LG Phillips LP171WU1 screen from another laptop be compatible with mine?
I'm thinking the specs wouldn't be the problem, I'm more worried about the connectors not being the same. If anyone can clear things up in this regard it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance! :D
