The lcd went dark on my c3500. An external monitor works fine. I checked the brightness settings and they are high. I checked the energy saving settings and the lcd is not turned off. I get a couple of little flickers when I boot up. Could there be a loose connection someplace or is there anything that I can try.

Try moving the screen back and forth a bit to see if you can get it to light up. If you can, loose connection. Otherwise, probably a dying lamp or inverter (more likely the inverter)
