Sony Z series now has an optional 13.1" 1920x1080 screen. Problem is that that resolution is about the only thing I like about the $4000 laptop. They bundle a 512GB SSD 6gb memory etc which is wasteful for me.

Is there a possibility a company like P1 is able to put the 13.1 screen in their $1500 model to make a $2000 version?

Sorry for the late response guys... unfortunately no. Sony is only offering the 1920x1080 screen on their retail consumer models.
