    i would like to have the stuff listed in question 4. Do want a hidh end processor and prefer 2gb ram dualchannel if possible
    1) What is your budget? around $1600-1700

    2) What size notebook would you prefer? 15" prefer

    3) Please select your country's flag as a post icon and tell us what country are you buying this in. United States

    4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like? thinking about Cyberpower x5-c90s pro b/c of price e6700 processor, 2gb ram, bluetooth, wsxga+ screen, builtin webcam, gig wired lan, draft n wireless

    5) What tasks will you be performing with the notebook? School Work/ Gaming / Network Video Streaming

    6) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places or leaving it on your desk? Desk

    7) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games? FPS, New games, System intense games

    8) How many hours of battery life do you need? will mostly be plugged in

    you have pretty much described the dell xps m1530. Check it out. Dell has a 670 off deal right now plus you should get a 200 dollar discount for being a student. Its a great laptop and you will love it.

    only problem is it doesn't have gigabit lan.

    I like the support for the Conroe series processor not to worried about battery life b/c it will mostly be plugged in. Im thinking of going through Gentech computers as i can buy all the accessories i want for cheaper. It will have conroe e6600 processor, 3gb ddr2 ram, GeForce 8600M GT 256MB GDDR3 (700MHz), Seagate Momentus 7200.2 160GB 7200rpm S-ATA 300, wireless n, bluetooth, webcam built in, card reader, vista home premium. It also has artic silver on the GPU and CPU. The Dell sysem i would have to select most all of these and it comes up 400 dollars more than if i went through Gentech, I dont know how much Dell's student discount is but i doubt it will be 400 dollars. And i dont like Dell
