Do you have xp disk or a recovery disk that you can boot into recovery console run chkdsk ?
-
i'm' not sure...
if i do, what do i do ?
if i dont, what do i do then ? -
What number does it give you, with all the zeros? That tell you the error that the computer is having. Most likely though, you will have to format the computer and install Windows again.

boot into recover console and run chkdsk
To start the computer and use the Recovery Console
From the Setup CD-ROM
Insert the Setup compact disc (CD) and restart the computer. If prompted, select any options required to boot from the CD.
When the text-based part of Setup begins, follow the prompts; choose the repair or recover option by pressing R. If you have a dual-boot or multiple-boot system, choose the installation that you need to access from the Recovery Console. When prompted, type the Administrator password. At the system prompt, type Recovery Console commands; type help for a list of commands, or help commandname for help on a specific command.
To exit the Recovery Console and restart the computer, type exit. -
also if chkdsk let it boot i shound do check hard disk with daig from company make sure it it okay
-
well this could be windows is corrupt
but most likely this is hard drive failure.
If reinstilation doesnt fix the problem you will have to get another 2.5 inch hd.
Laptop wont let me use it
