I've had my HEL-80 from powernotebooks.com since the Christmas before last and a few months ago I started to notice what I can only describe as dark spots on the monitor. They have grown to be approx 1" x 3" in about the middle of the left third of the screen and a second 1" x 1" spot in the rightmost third of the screen. Upon close inspection there are multiple dead pixels in these dark spots. I have tried many different cleaning products and do not think that these are stains or anything on the outside of the screen. Any suggestions?

You should contact powernotebooks.com and ask them if it's under warranty. I've heard they've got an excellent customer service, so it will probably be fixed quickly. :D
