I'm planning on ordering the IFL90 within the next week or two with the following specs:

    T7300 processor
    1680 x 1050 wsxga+ (hopefully matte)
    2 gigs ram (2 sticks)
120 gig sata 3Gb/s hard drive

I'll be taking it to college where I'll be majoring in engineering (not sure what kinds of programs I might need for that), and doing photo and video editing on the side, as well as some gaming (like Supreme Commander). Based on that, would you guys recommend Windows XP or Vista, and any last minute thoughts on where to order? Right now I've narrowed it down to Powernotebooks and XoticPC. Thanks guys!

Ask you college what OS they recommend for your major and see if you can find out what programs they use and see if they work well in vista.

Both PNB and xoticpc are very reputable resellers and they offer great tech/customer service(i recommend you call them up before making the purchase) and have reps that are active and helpful members of the forum. You cant go wrong either way.

recently justin from xoticpc told me that there was a shortage of 120GB hard drives. if you need the laptop quickly, you should call them up and ask about that.
