people just started to receive those laptops, I doubt anyone has had the time to test any linux distros on them. But as long as the hardware is supported, why should it be a problem?

Taken from the zepto page for the nox it self

The Zepto Nox is tested*** to work with Ubuntu for those looking for a free operating system alternative. Ubuntu’s newest distribution Hardy Heron 8.04 works out of the box with driver support for the most common hardware which includes the brand new Cuda technology from Nvidia. Some hardware, like the webcam, fingerprint scanner and TV-Tuner card, will need 3rd party drivers to function.Tuner card will need 3rd party drivers to function.

So regarding 3rd party drivers for the webcam, fingerprint reader etc etc, I assume that would require to get the drivers from the makers of the actual hardware, not Zepto?

I'm thinking of dual booting with Linux.

    Cheers

I think you'll have to get them straight from the chipset manufacturers, or find guides to install them from the distribution's forum.

    Hi!

Thanks for all the answers. Seems my best bet is to order it with the intel wireless card.

    Thanks again!
