I have a New Averatec 3225HS....the left side of the keyboard seems loose (is not solid when you depress Q W E A S D etc). It seems to deflect down a few 'thousands' of an inch before feeling solid. The middle & right side of the keyboard feel solid when depressing the keys....how would I tighten this or correct it?.......THANKS

This is not an uncommon problem in notebooks. It's been solved before by placing a small piece of those double sided sticky pads under the offending areas.

Thanks for the info....What do you have to take apart to install the sticky pads, how does the keypad lift up? Do any of the underside screws attach to the keyboard or does the keyboard just snap in?

...Maybe a field fix like this is better than sending it in for repair, at my shipping cost.

You need to consult your manual or online support docs to remove teh keyboard, every notebook is a little different.
