For all you folks who own a Akoya LS, congratulations you have actually purchased a high-quality rebranded MSI Megabook S260. You can look here and see the MSI version of your Akoya LS:

    http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/notebook/nb/pro_nb_selling.php?UID=607

You may need to search the web (or contact CSI direct) for a battery or other items, but at least you know what model to look for!

I have just purchase a second hand Medion Akoya LS and I want to know if I could update the bios to the MSI instead of using the Medion. Also I would like to update all the drivers for it, do you guys think this will work?
